ISSUE 2 AUTHOR INTERVIEW: REBECCA BENNETT

Did someone say ‘horny space worms with a horny symbiotic relationship with their human hosts whose necks they live in as they fuck each other?”

Oh right, WE did!

Check out Rebecca Bennett, author of the wormfucking masterpiece “Worm Sign” from Issue 2!

NYGEL: What piece of media was your gateway into monsterfuckery?

RB: It is a very straight path from Ursula the Seawitch in The Little Mermaid to monsterfuckery (maybe a little detour to Garrus Vakarian from Mass Effect).

NYGEL: What creature or character is your biggest 'hear me out'?

RB: Doug Jones' character work has made most 'hear me outs' redundant right?

NYGEL: Did anything in particular inspire you to write this story?

RB: The Yeerk from Animorphs! I started thinking about how alien worms would procreate and what better alien worm to fixate on than the Yeerk? Plus Animorphs is the superior YA series.

NYGEL: If you could add a monster romance to any existing story, what would you choose and why?

RB: All You Need is Kill/Edge of Tomorrow. It's a whole new story but one I'd want to read. Give me a toxic yuri romance with a time-bending alien.

NYGEL: What would you like to see more of when it comes to weird and spicy fiction?

RB: Carapaces. Less squishy more chitinous please.

The neck worms are horny😈—get slimy with “Worm Sign” in NYGEL Issue 2!
